FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where are you located?
A: We currently do not have a location. We are in developments of this ministry and working on the framework of this roadmap (including curriculum, legal documents, protocols, etc.)

Q: Do children have screen time?
A: In short, no. Children under the age of 10 have no screen time. We do have monthly movies on the projector (ages 4-10). With children over the age of 10 we incorporate more educational films/videos/etc.

Q: Do you give out homework?
A: Yes! We believe it is not just the duty of guides to help children but for parents to work together, in order to create a more holistic approach to parenting. We give out monthly assignments to work on/discuss. This is mostly sensitive topics that should be discussed with parental guidance. We provide resources and support to help nurture and blueprint these touchy topics.

Q: What kind of security measures do you have?
A: We have a high security system. We have cameras in and out of the building, as well as gates and alarms for intruders, a check in/out system, facial/fingerprint/ID security, as well as safety policy, procedures and drills to ensure the safety of the children, staff and families. We disclose all the details to our security measures as public information, for safety purposes. Weapons and firearms of any sort are prohibited within 20 ft of the center and not allowed on campus.

Q: Are you a Montessori? Waldorf? Reggio Emilia? Farm School? Forrest School?
A: We are a Christian based center, that takes different aspects of different practices, but we are not limited to them. We believe in raising children according to what scripture says/aligns with scripture.

Q: Do you spank at the center?
A: We prohibit any physical/mental/emotional harm to children. If there is suspected abuse, it is reported immediately and administered accordingly.

Q: Is there any food prohibited in the center? What if my child has allergies?
A: We do not prohibit certain foods. We keep the food we provide as "clean" as possible. We try to stay away from processed/GMO foods. If you have concerns, we will make an execution/emergency plan for your child. If so desired, you can bring food from home, but we prohibit any packaged/processed food. As we do not want children to be promoted to desire those foods.

Q: Do you have curriculum?
A: Yes, we do have curriculum. We believe every child should grow up to become an advocate for their own health. We believe there are also other things like life skills children should grow up to learn; things like sowing, growing their own food, taking care of animals, creating routine, finances, etc.

Q: What do you celebrate at the center?
A: We celebrate Christmas, Easter, Birthdays and Federal Holidays. We do not celebrate all events like traditional schools/homes may. Other cultural holidays, we may talk about/bring awareness to. *Ask for more details about "treats" and customs. We also provide resources on navigating holidays other people may celebrate but your family doesn't, also helping children feel like they aren't missing out on a big part of their childhood.

Q: What do you not allow at the center?
A: A few things we do not allow at the center:
* clothes/books/etc. with characters/anything promoting fantasy/idols (ex. princess, hero's, tv shows). We do not celebrate Halloween, Christmas with Santa, etc.

Q: What denomination is the center?
A: We are a Protestant non-denominational center.
We believe:
* There is one God, revealed in three persons (The Trinity; Father, Son & Holy Spirit)
* We believe in The New Testament
* God humbled Himself, came down in the flesh as Jesus Christ, died for our sins, was resurrected on the third day and gave us new life so we may be saved and receive the gift of eternal life. Salvation is by grace alone, received through faith alone.
